The 9th Annual Minnehaha Creek Cleanup is scheduled for Sunday, July 26, and is poised to be the biggest and best event yet! We are aiming to collect a whopping 3 tons of trash from around Minnehaha Creek and Minneapolis lakes.
This year’s event will remain headquartered at Lake Hiawatha Park in Minneapolis and offer a satellite location at the Knollwood Super Target store in St. Louis Park. The MCWD is once again sponsoring the cleanup with the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company’s “Canoes for a Cause” campaign in partnership with Metro Blooms, the Freshwater Society and Target.
