Minnesota Water Steward Projects

Minnesota Water Stewards complete a capstone project in order to receive their certification.  These include an water-improvement project and an education/outreach campaign.  Past projects have included practices such as raingardens, rain barrels, permeable pavement, or cisterns, which reduce polluted water runoff and help more water soak into the ground.  Education campaigns help neighbors and community members understand local environmental issues and how they can make a difference.
